Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of SpiritTrace: Ghost Detector EMF (the "App"), provided by 617SW, LLC("617SW," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.
2. License
Subject to these Terms and Apple's applicable App Store terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal entertainment, experimentation, and atmospheric investigation sessions.
3. Apple Standard EULA
Unless we provide a separate custom license in App Store Connect, your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement for apps distributed through the App Store.
4. Real Sensor, Entertainment Interpretation
The meter is driven by your iPhone's real magnetometer, and it responds to genuine changes in the local magnetic field. Interpreting a reading or a spike as a ghost, spirit, presence, or other paranormal activity is for entertainment, experimentation, and atmosphere. Readings, meter movement, alerts, logs, and any saved clips are not proof of paranormal activity, a real person, a safety issue, a medical condition, or an emergency.
5. Not a Measurement or Safety Instrument
The App is a novelty meter, not certified test equipment. It does not measure radiation or personal safety, and it cannot detect Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular or 5G signals, or microwave leakage. Do not use the App to assess exposure, health, or safety, or to make safety, medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.
6. Responsible Use
You are responsible for using the App lawfully and safely. Only use the App where you are legally allowed to be. Follow local laws, posted rules, closures, property restrictions, and platform requirements. Do not trespass, enter unsafe areas, harass others, or record people without required consent.
7. Sensors and Accuracy
The App uses magnetometer, motion, and (where you enable it) microphone features. Output may be incomplete, inaccurate, coincidental, or affected by nearby magnets, speakers, wiring, motors, metal, electronics, calibration, permissions, device settings, sensor limitations, and operating system behavior.
8. Data, Recordings, and Sharing
You are responsible for your app data, session logs, audio recordings, exports, screenshots, and sharing choices, including keeping backups where needed, controlling access to your device, and deleting information you no longer want.
9. Purchases and Subscriptions
Some features may require an in-app purchase or subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple, and subscription availability, renewal, cancellation, refund handling, and billing are governed by Apple's App Store terms and settings.
10. Availability and Changes
We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the App at any time. We are not responsible for interruptions, device limitations, permission limitations, operating system changes, third-party service failures, app store changes, or data loss.
11. Disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, 617SW, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, device issues, incorrect output, missed warnings, emotional distress, trespass, injury, property damage, privacy issues caused by your recording or sharing choices, or actions you take based on the App.
13. Changes and Contact
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Questions can be sent through our contact form.
