1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how 617SW, LLC("617SW," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with SpiritBox (the "App"), an entertainment audio app for iPhone.

2. Summary

SpiritBox is designed as a local-first entertainment experience. Session logs, saved responses, favorites, audio evidence clips, selected haunted-site information, and app preferences are stored on your device unless you choose to export, share, or otherwise send them elsewhere.

3. Information the App Processes

• Spoken questions captured through the microphone and on-device speech recognition;
• Generated static, synthesized voice fragments, timestamps, and session notes;
• Saved evidence entries, favorite status, and locally stored audio clips;
• Optional haunted-site directory selections and map searches you choose to open;
• Magnetic-field readings and other device sensor values used for atmospheric effects.

SpiritBox does not operate an account system, and we do not receive your session content, microphone audio, saved clips, or haunted-site selections through our own servers.

4. Device Permissions

The App may request microphone access to capture questions, speech recognition access to transcribe questions, motion or magnetic-field sensor access for atmospheric tools, and permission to open Apple Maps when you choose a map action. You can manage permissions in iOS Settings.

5. Sharing and Third-Party Services

If you export, share, message, email, save, or open information from the App in another app or service, that action is controlled by you and may be handled by Apple or the selected third party. Apple may also process App Store downloads, updates, crash diagnostics, and related platform information under Apple's policies.

6. Support Communications

If you contact us for support, we may receive your email address, message contents, screenshots, diagnostics, and any information you choose to include. Please avoid sending sensitive audio, location, or personal information unless it is necessary for support.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it in the App where available, remove saved items, or uninstall the App. Support emails may be retained as needed to respond to requests, maintain business records, and comply with legal obligations.

8. Children's Privacy

SpiritBox is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Entertainment Use and Your Choices

SpiritBox is for entertainment, experimentation, and atmosphere. You are responsible for deciding what to record, save, delete, export, or share, and for using the App only where you are legally allowed to be.

10. Changes and Contact
