Privacy Policy

1. Scope and Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how 617SW, LLC("617SW," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with VioraDose and its related services. VioraDose is a personal GLP-1 tracking app for iPhone. This policy also serves as our consumer health data notice where applicable.

2. Local-First Design

VioraDose does not require a VioraDose account. Medication logs, symptoms, check-ins, notes, goals, reminders, settings, and locally imported Apple Health snapshots are designed to remain on your device unless you deliberately export or share them or use a feature that must contact a provider described below. We do not operate a server that receives your complete VioraDose health history in the current release.

3. Consumer Health Data We May Process

Information you choose to enter or import may qualify as consumer health data. It can include medication name, dose, form, schedule, reminders, supply, injection site, shot or pill logs, pain score, lot number, missed-dose choices, side effects, symptom severity, appetite or hunger, meals, calories, protein, fiber, water, supplements, weight, height, steps, goals, BMI-related calculations, and clinician discussion notes.

We process this information only to provide features you request, such as local logging, reminders, calendar and progress views, calculations, Apple Health import, doctor notes, export, sharing, and deletion. We do not sell consumer health data, use it for targeted advertising, or send identifiable health entries to data brokers.

4. Sources of Information

• You, when you enter, import, correct, or share information;
• Apple Health, only for data types you authorize VioraDose to read;
• Apple and RevenueCat for purchase and subscription status;
• Nutrition providers when you initiate a food search or barcode lookup;
• Your device and ordinary network requests for limited technical data needed to operate a selected feature;
• Support communications that you choose to send us.

5. Apple Health

If you grant permission, VioraDose may read body weight, height, dietary energy, dietary protein, dietary water, and step count from Apple Health. Access is optional, read-only, and controlled by iOS. You can decline access and use manual logging, or change permissions later in iOS Settings or the Health app.

VioraDose uses authorized Health data to display and prefill the tracking features you request. Locally synchronized snapshots may remain in VioraDose until you delete or reset App data. We do not use Apple Health data for advertising, sell it, or send it to RevenueCat, nutrition providers, or the savings feed.

6. Camera, Barcode, and Nutrition Lookup

Camera access is requested only when you choose to scan a food barcode. For a barcode or nutrition search, VioraDose may send the barcode or search terms to Open Food Facts or USDA FoodData Central. Those providers may also receive ordinary request metadata, such as an IP address, needed to deliver a response. They do not need your medication, symptom, weight, or Apple Health history to perform the lookup.

7. Notifications and Device Authentication

VioraDose uses local iOS notifications for enabled dose, water, supplement, and missed-log reminders. Notification text may be visible on a locked device unless you enable VioraDose's privacy filter or change iOS notification settings. If you enable App Lock, Face ID, Touch ID where available, or passcode authentication is handled by Apple. We do not receive or store biometric templates.

8. Purchases, RevenueCat, and Apple Ads Attribution

Apple processes purchases and payment details. RevenueCat helps validate subscription status, restore purchases, and measure purchase performance. RevenueCat may process a pseudonymous app user identifier, product and transaction identifiers, entitlement and trial status, purchase dates, pricing, storefront country or region, and limited app, device, and request information needed for those services. We do not send medication logs, symptoms, meals, notes, or Apple Health data to RevenueCat.

If VioraDose was installed through Apple Ads, Apple's privacy-preserving AdServices attribution token may be provided to RevenueCat to associate campaign, ad group, keyword, placement, and conversion information with subscription performance. This Apple attribution method does not use IDFA and does not require permission to track you across other companies' apps or websites.

9. Technical Information

Apple, RevenueCat, nutrition providers, and our hosting providers may process limited technical information such as app version, device or operating-system version, network request metadata, IP address, timestamps, response errors, and subscription diagnostics as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and prevent abuse of their services. We do not currently include a third-party advertising SDK or a general-purpose product analytics SDK in the iOS App.

10. Savings and Manufacturer Resource Feed

VioraDose may request a public savings-resource feed from a 617SW-hosted endpoint. The request may include ordinary technical metadata needed to deliver the feed. The feed does not require your medication logs, symptoms, notes, weight, or Apple Health data. When you follow a manufacturer, insurer, or pharmacy link, that destination's privacy policy applies.

11. Sharing, Exporting, and Support

You control VioraDose's doctor-note and JSON export tools. Information you send through Messages, Mail, Files, or another destination is handled by the recipient and that service. Review exports before sharing them. If you contact us, we may receive your contact details, message, and attachments. Avoid sending sensitive health information unless it is necessary for support.

12. Service Providers and Disclosures

Depending on features you use, data may be processed by:

• Apple — App distribution, StoreKit purchases, HealthKit, notifications, authentication, and sharing;
• RevenueCat — subscription entitlement and Apple Ads attribution services;
• Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central — user-initiated nutrition lookups;
• Vercel and 617SW-hosted systems — website, support routing, and the public savings feed;
• A destination or recipient you choose when exporting or following a link.

We may also disclose information when required by law or legal process, to protect rights, safety, security, or prevent fraud, or as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, with notice where required by law.

13. No Sale or Targeted Advertising

We do not sell personal information or consumer health data. We do not share consumer health data for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not permit third parties to use identifiable VioraDose health entries for their own advertising.

14. Retention and Deletion

Local App data remains until you edit or delete entries, use Delete App Data, or remove the App. Delete App Data is designed to remove doses, stats, meals, symptoms, goals, reminders, setup information, and locally synchronized Health snapshots. Information already exported or shared must be deleted from the receiving destination separately. Apple and RevenueCat may retain purchase records as needed for subscriptions, restores, fraud prevention, accounting, and legal obligations.

15. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to processing; withdraw consent; and appeal a denied request. Many actions are available directly through VioraDose's editing, export, permission, and Delete App Data controls. You may also submit a request through our contact form. We may need to verify the request to protect your information. If we deny a request, reply to our response to appeal, and you may contact your state attorney general or other regulator where applicable.

16. Legal Bases and International Processing

Where a legal basis is required, we process information to perform our contract with you, with consent for optional permissions and features, for legitimate interests such as security and reliability that do not override your rights, and to comply with law. Service providers may process information in the United States or other countries. We use legally required safeguards for international transfers where applicable.

17. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to a local-first consumer wellness app. No device, storage method, or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device passcode and review notification, Apple Health, App Lock, sharing, and iCloud backup settings.

18. Children

VioraDose is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in their region, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child provided information contrary to this policy.

19. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. We will post the revised version and update the effective date. We will provide additional notice of material changes where required.
