Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By downloading or using Remote for LG (the "App"), published by 617SW, LLC("617SW," "we," "us," or "our"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. What the App Does

The App turns your iPhone or Android phone into a remote control for compatible LG smart televisions on your own Wi-Fi network. It communicates directly with your television using the interfaces the television exposes on your local network.

3. Compatibility Is Not Guaranteed

LG televisions differ by model, model year, region, operating system, and firmware. Features that work on one television may be unavailable, behave differently, or stop working after a firmware update on another. We do not guarantee compatibility with any particular television, feature, installed application, or firmware version.

If the App does not work with your television, you may request a refund from Apple or Google under the applicable store's policies.

4. Subscriptions and Free Trials

The App offers auto-renewing LG Pro subscriptions that unlock additional features. Prices may vary by country or region, and the exact price shown by Apple or Google Play before purchase controls. In the United States, the options are:

• LG Pro Monthly: $4.99 per month after a 3-day free trial;
• LG Pro Annual: $17.99 per year after a 3-day free trial.

A free trial is available only when Apple or Google Play determines that your store account is eligible. If you start an eligible trial, it converts to the selected paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends under the terms displayed by your store. The store displays the applicable trial and post-trial price before you confirm.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when the trial ends or when you purchase;
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period, subject to the terms shown by your store;
• Your account is charged for renewal according to the schedule shown by Apple or Google Play, at the rate then displayed by that store;
• You may manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID or Google Play account settings at any time.

Apple and Google process purchases and refunds. We cannot issue refunds directly. Apple requests may be made at reportaproblem.apple.com; Google Play requests may be made through Google Play Help.

5. Acceptable Use

Use the App only with televisions you own or are authorised to control. Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App except as permitted by law or by Apple's terms.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or compatible with your equipment.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 617SW, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the App. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

8. Privacy

The App's local-control data remains on your device. On Android, RevenueCat processes limited anonymous purchase and device information to manage subscription access. See the Privacy Policy for details.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Questions can be sent through our contact form.

Remote for LG is an independent application and is not affiliated with, authorised by, or endorsed by LG Electronics. "LG" and related product names are trademarks of their respective owner and are used only to describe compatibility.
