Common Questions
The meter is driven by your iPhone's real magnetometer. On launch, the App calibrates to the ambient field so the needle reads the change around you rather than the raw field. If the reading seems stuck high, move away from magnets, speakers, chargers, laptops, and other electronics and tap Zero to re-calibrate.
Readings can vary with nearby metal, wiring, motors, magnets, and electronics, as well as calibration, device hardware, and operating-system permissions. The App is a novelty meter; it does not measure radiation or safety and cannot detect Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, cellular or 5G signals, or microwave leakage.
Legal
SpiritTrace reads a real sensor, but interpreting readings as paranormal activity is for entertainment. Meter movement, alerts, logs, and saved clips should be treated as creative artifacts, not factual or safety-critical information.
