License

Universal TV Remote is provided by 617SW, LLC. The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement. These pages explain the app’s compatibility and subscription behavior; they do not replace that license or your applicable statutory consumer rights.

Use and compatibility

Use the app only with devices you own or are authorized to control. Remote control requires compatible equipment on the same local network, permission to access that network, and any pairing approval required by the TV or streaming player.

Features differ by model, firmware, network settings, region, and streaming app. Power, volume, keyboard, voice, casting, and title-search features are not available on every device. A subscription does not change your hardware’s capabilities. The app does not provide streaming subscriptions, television programming, or rights to third-party content.

Optional subscriptions

Universal TV Remote Pro offers auto-renewing weekly, monthly, and annual plans. The app displays the local price, billing period, available Pro features, and any eligible introductory offer before you confirm a purchase. The annual plan is billed as one payment for a year of access.

• Payment is charged to your store account when you confirm the purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Renewal is charged within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your store account’s subscription settings.
• Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Canceling stops future renewals; access normally continues through the paid period.
• Restore purchases using the same store account that made the purchase.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled through Apple’s Report a Problem service, subject to the store’s policies and applicable law.
